Description

We are a collective of illustrators, mainly comic artists, who print all our work ourselves using risography.
Printing is at the heart of our practice: by choosing riso, we embrace a warmth of tone and a depth of color often lost in the pursuit of efficiency through four-color printing.

Although this path is longer and more intricate, we take pride in its unique and tactile result.
The latest and final issue of our fanzine Rhizome, No. 23, has just been released.
We will also showcase our new project on the theme of travel, along with other examples of riso printing — newsletters, flyers, artist cards, and magazines.

During the exhibition, our riso machine will also be at work.

Biography

Born from a shared passion for comics, storytelling, and micro-publishing, our team came together around a common desire to create and self-publish our own fanzine.
Since 2013, we have been publishing Rhizome.

Alongside this project, we released Ex-Nihilo, a travel journal about Iceland, and we are preparing a new magazine on travel, combining texts, photographs, and illustrations, all printed in riso.

Published four times a year, Rhizome features five short comics, each four pages long, created by the four founding members and a guest artist who changes with each issue.
Every edition begins with a carefully chosen haiku, around which all stories revolve.
