Biography
Beginning his artistic journey in 1991 under the evocative name DJ Psychogene, David emerged from the depths of Brussels’ nightlife to the far reaches of his own restless soul.
For over a decade, he shaped the city’s nights with his hypnotic, electrifying, and melancholic electronic music, collaborating with Kid Creme to produce international hits, including a remix for Underworld, Dinosaur 3D Adventure, and Space Cruising.
Over time, he felt a powerful urge to step away from the spotlight and embark on a spiritual and artistic quest across the world. During these journeys, painting and the visual arts captured his imagination, leading to a profound transformation.
Influenced by the masters of the CoBrA movement such as Karel Appel and Asger Jorn, David began to express his inner obsessions through a vibrant, expressive, and gestural style.
His works blend strength and chaos, abstraction and emotion, revealing anthropomorphic figures and ethereal beings emerging from the subconscious.
Today, David moves not dance floors but hearts and minds, inviting viewers to dive into the depths of his inner world, where emotion and instinct reign free.
