Description

Depression is a wound — but also an opportunity: a chance to move toward healing, to rediscover oneself fully, despite the pain.

To “exorcise” what hurts — the rumination, the discouragement — I return to pencils, walnut ink, pastels, paints, and let intuition guide me.
Writing helps me put this journey into words.
A kind of self-art therapy, in a way.

Texts and illustrations come together to help others grasp the ambiguities of this disconcerting illness.
