Description

The students of Isabelle Ravet, also known as Isara, exhibit their works in the very studio where they learn to paint.
Their names and artistic perspectives will be highlighted alongside their creations.

Trained in trompe-l’œil, Isara passes on a classical expertise applied to a wide range of subjects: imaginary landscapes, deep skies, moving seas, everyday objects, and still lifes.
Far from limiting herself to a single genre, her teaching emphasizes mastery of light, texture, and composition within an atmosphere of openness and personal exploration.

During the Artists’ Trail, two live demonstrations will take place on Saturday and Sunday at 4 p.m., offering visitors the chance to witness the staging and interpretation of a subject in acrylic and oil paint.

Biography

Isabelle Ravet, known as Isara, was trained in heritage restoration in Venice and panoramic painting in Paris. She now develops a pictorial practice focused on still life.

Her artistic universe is rooted in a deep attention to everyday objects — humble or precious — which she illuminates with a sensitive light. Inspired by the chiaroscuro tradition and a sense of gentle vanitas, her work explores the silent presence of things and their inner life.

She exhibits in Knokke, Brussels, Saint Petersburg, and the Sablon district, collaborates with chefs, and teaches at the University of Seniors.
Driven by a true passion for sharing knowledge, she offers courses and workshops that foster dialogue, observation, and the transmission of gesture.
