Description
My inspiration this year comes from Asian martial arts.
Of Korean origin, I have begun learning Korean swordsmanship and archery.
I strive to capture the grace and strength that emanate from those who dedicate themselves to these disciplines.
I have always loved portraying female faces.
I am currently studying at the Ixelles School of Arts, in the painting class of Quentin Smolders, whom I warmly thank for his patience, sharp eye, and insightful guidance.
More paintings will be completed in time for the Artists’ Trail.
Biography
I was born in Busan, in southern Korea, and was adopted by a Belgian family.
I have always had a deep passion for culture, art, and music.
This led me to study music at the academy and art history at the ULB (Université libre de Bruxelles).
Although I don’t work in the artistic field, I bring a creative touch to my professional life and encourage my colleagues to engage with art.
