Description
I am a painter working mainly with oil on canvas, in a figurative style often infused with elements of abstraction.
My work explores the dialogue between the living and the non-living, between being and object, between what endures and what fades with time.
My approach is intuitive, shaped by experience and memory, allowing images to emerge slowly through successive layers.
Influenced by both classical and contemporary artists, I seek to weave a personal pictorial language that resonates with theirs.
I am also deeply interested in how the human brain filters and interprets visual perceptions.
What we see is never raw reality — it is always an image filtered through our history, memories, and projections.
That is why my paintings do not impose a single message, but instead offer an open space where viewers may inscribe their own narratives, emotions, and perceptions.
Biography
Born in Hungary, I have been painting since childhood, drawn to colour and material as a means of expression.
Before devoting myself fully to art, I earned a PhD in Applied Sciences and worked in scientific research in Hungary, France, Belgium, and New York.
Back in Belgium, I decided to deepen my artistic practice, studying at the Ixelles Academy of Arts with Mireille Vincent, and later at the Academy of Visual Arts of Molenbeek with Danièle Aron.
Graduating in 2022 from the Ixelles Academy, I received the Prize of the College of the Mayor and Aldermen and was selected as a “Coup de Cœur” (Favourite) of the Artists’ Trail.
My work has been exhibited at the Boendael Chapel, at Flagey as part of the Ixelles Artists’ Trail, and at The Nine Club.
