Biography
Wim Scheere, born in Antwerp in 1959, lives and works in Saint-Jean-Geest.
A poet, visual artist, and initiator of collective art projects, he presents his poems live and through video installations, blending Dutch, French, English, and German.
His visual works are often made using toothpaste, a playful and symbolic medium evoking purity, irony, and transformation.
He regularly initiates collective projects such as:
– In the eyes of my mother I see (mail art, 2025)
– I feel like a tree (collective poem, 2024)
– Shifting & Drifting Horizons (collective collages, 2024)
– Birds don’t stop at Borders ! (collective art, 2023)
