Je pratique une peinture à l’acrylique faite de saynètes, entre bande dessinée, illustration, art brut et expressionnisme.

J’ai suivi une formation secondaire classique à Namur, ensuite en arts plastiques à Saint-Luc à Bruxelles pendant trois ans, puis en philologie romane à l’ULB.
J’ai mené une carrière d’enseignante en français dans plusieurs pays, tout en poursuivant une pratique personnelle de la peinture et du dessin de nus dans diverses académies de Bruxelles.
J’ai participé à des expositions collectives et individuelles à Oujda (Maroc), Paris, Bruxelles, Johannesburg, Pretoria et Saint-Denis de La Réunion.

I work with acrylic painting, creating small scenes that lie somewhere between comic art, illustration, outsider art, and expressionism.

I completed a classical secondary education in Namur, then studied visual arts at Saint-Luc in Brussels for three years, followed by a degree in Romance Philology at ULB.
I pursued a career as a French teacher in several countries, while maintaining a personal practice in painting and life drawing at various art academies in Brussels.
My work has been shown in group and solo exhibitions in Oujda (Morocco), Paris, Brussels, Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Saint-Denis (Réunion Island).

Ik schilder met acrylverf en maak kleine taferelen die zich bevinden tussen stripkunst, illustratie, art brut en expressionisme.

Ik volgde een klassieke middelbare opleiding in Namen, daarna beeldende kunsten aan Sint-Lucas in Brussel gedurende drie jaar, gevolgd door Romaanse filologie aan de ULB.
Ik heb een loopbaan als lerares Frans in verschillende landen opgebouwd, terwijl ik mijn persoonlijke praktijk in schilderkunst en naakttekenen bleef ontwikkelen aan diverse Brusselse academies.
Mijn werk werd tentoongesteld in groeps- en solotentoonstellingen in Oujda (Marokko), Parijs, Brussel, Johannesburg, Pretoria en Saint-Denis (Réunion).

Au cœur de notre démarche de médiation sociale, culturelle et artistique réside la conviction profonde que la créativité, la collaboration et l’entraide sont des forces puissantes, capables de transformer non seulement nos espaces physiques, mais aussi nos mentalités et notre vivre ensemble. Dans le cadre du projet des colonnades, nous avons réalisé un projet d’embellissement de la plaine de jeu Châtillon Plage Ixelles dans le quartier Tulipe à Ixelles.

Les fresques ont été réalisées par les enfants et les habitants du quartier en collaboration avec les associations : “Dynamo”, “Fais le Trottoir”, l’encadrement d’“Habitat Rénovation” et l’administration communale ixelloise.

At the heart of our approach to social, cultural, and artistic mediation lies the deep conviction that creativity, collaboration, and mutual aid are powerful forces capable of transforming not only our physical spaces but also our mindsets and our way of living together. As part of the Colonnades project, we carried out an embellishment project for the Châtillon Plage Ixelles playground in the Tulipe neighborhood in Ixelles.

The murals were created by children and residents of the neighborhood in collaboration with the associations: “Dynamo”, “Fais le Trottoir”, supervised by “Habitat Renovation”, and the Ixelles municipal administration.

Centraal in onze benadering van sociale, culturele en artistieke bemiddeling ligt de diepe overtuiging dat creativiteit, samenwerking en onderlinge hulp krachtige krachten zijn die niet alleen onze fysieke ruimtes kunnen transformeren, maar ook onze denkwijzen en ons samenleven. Als onderdeel van het Colonnades-project hebben we een verfraaiingsproject uitgevoerd voor de speelplaats Châtillon Plage Ixelles in de wijk Tulipe in Elsene.

De muurschilderingen zijn gemaakt door kinderen en bewoners van de buurt in samenwerking met de verenigingen: “Dynamo”, “Fais le Trottoir”, onder toezicht van “Habitat Renovation” en de gemeentelijke administratie van Elsene.

6 - Pavillon Malibran

Le site occupé maintenant par la maison communale d’Ixelles était auparavant une villa-auberge nommée Le Tulipant, entourée d’un parc, déjà mentionnée au XVIIᵉ siècle. En 1833, la villa est remplacée par un bâtiment conçu pour le compositeur Charles de Bériot, qui la nomme Pavillon Malibran en hommage à la cantatrice Maria Malibran, dont il fut l’époux peu avant sa disparition. En 1849, la Commune d’Ixelles acquiert le domaine, transforme une partie du parc en place publique, et installe progressivement les services communaux dans ce pavillon.

The site now occupied by the Ixelles Town Hall was once a villa-inn called Le Tulipant, surrounded by a park and already mentioned in the 17th century. In 1833, the villa was replaced by a residence designed for composer Charles de Bériot, who named it Pavillon Malibran in tribute to the celebrated singer Maria Malibran, his wife shortly before her death. In 1849, the municipality of Ixelles purchased the estate, turned part of the park into a public square, and gradually installed its administrative offices in the pavilion.

Het terrein dat vandaag de dag het gemeentehuis van Elsene herbergt, was oorspronkelijk een villa-herberg genaamd Le Tulipant, omgeven door een park en al vermeld in de 17de eeuw. In 1833 werd de villa vervangen door een gebouw dat werd ontworpen voor de componist Charles de Bériot, die het Pavillon Malibran noemde, ter ere van de beroemde zangeres Maria Malibran, met wie hij kortstondig gehuwd was voor haar overlijden. In 1849 kocht de gemeente Elsene het domein aan, legde een openbaar plein aan op een deel van het park, en vestigde geleidelijk haar administratieve diensten in het paviljoen.
