Biography
When I paint, I forget myself. I enter my paintings like open books, infinite worlds in perspective. I dance and the music sets the rhythm of the painting’s execution. I seek harmony between colors. My brush guides me toward a particular light. This year, my work is inspired by the light of the South. The Mediterranean has been a source of artistic creation for millennia. I humbly place myself in this tradition, even though my origins are more from the North. Summer in the Cyclades immerses me in a state of reflection and meditation that transforms my inner palette of colors. I then embark on a series of inner journeys. Like on the surface of the Mediterranean, my soul glides freely without limits, at the whim of the wind of creation. For the first time, I am also sharing a series of collages, which for me is another way of expressing this inner music.
