Liina Ranne is Estonian and has lived in Brussels for over 20 years. When I paint, I forget myself. I enter my paintings like open books, infinite modes in perspective. I seek harmony between colors. My brush guides me towards a particular light that of the North. In winter, in northern lands, light is rare and more precious than gold.
