Description
Over the past two years, I’ve been exploring new media and working on collaborative projects, but I’ve also kept a more intimate approach to painting. This more personal series has not yet left my studio, and redraws a universe in my practice, a new pictorial stage.
Biography
Maëlle Maisonneuve (1988) is an artist based in Brussels. Her artistic practice spans drawing, video, collage, painting and writing. This diversity of mediums is always approached with a certain rawness of execution and a grain of poetry in the intention. She also works a lot in collaboration, notably on the itinerant gallery project Le Château (l-e-c-h-a-t-e-a-u.be) or more recently Inner Crumble (innercrumble.art) with artist Léa Mayer.
