Description

A series of realistic, linear portraits, including a series of pencil drawings inspired by Arthur Rimbaud’s poem Ophelia. As well as academic portraits inspired by the great classical painters such as Leonardo da Vinci and Botticelli. Secondly, a series of floral drawings, bouquets and water lilies inspired by both Japanese and classical art.



Biography

Originally from Antwerp, Sandrine has lived in Brussels since the age of 6. She became interested in art at an early age. She took drawing classes at Saint-Luc secondaire before studying Architecture and Illustration at the ESA and the Bologna Academy of Fine Arts. She then worked as a graphic designer in an industrial design company, and most recently in the studio of a Belgian luxury leather goods house.
